I hope this new year will bring increasing musical appreciation, satisfaction and proficiency, by following our musical passion, overcoming at least one musical challenge, and gaining proficiency in at least one piece to be performed to our satisfaction.
@ElementsInSpace I think he played modern style improvisations from the minimal sketch shown at minute 1:30 of the shorter video.
I found a 15-minute video of one of the organists (?) talking about those improvisations in response to the liturgical "awakening" texts said by the Archbishop, what they mean, and how the organists imagined how the organ should respond, but I haven't listened to the entirety.
