Small rant: I'm very tired of people assuming the only theory out there is the theory taught in a basic music theory intro class.

@Shevliaskovic Theory was never meant to be rules, but the why instead.

At an early level, you are graded on how well you can show the application which is misguided as rules.

I agree, that's why i used the quotation marks on the word rules. People cannot understand that they are not some part of the law and composing something against them won't get you arrested
