Hello In emacs.stackexchange.com/questions/39250/… @Drew left this comment "Comments risk being deleted at any time. Consider moving your comment to an answer.". I wanted to give acknowledge @wasamasa helpful answer while sharing the minor tweak I made to in to address my specific issue. I feel hesitant about editing someone else's answer but would not want a helpful comment to be deleted.

I would appreciate suggestion on what to do if I run into this again.

@learningemacs Answers go in the answers. You can acknowledge people by name in your answers, but if you can cite a more canonical source, do that instead (or in addition, if you prefer). Flag obsolete comments for deletion. We delete comments that have completed their purpose. Their purpose is to seek clarification or to critique. Answers should be answers, not in comments.
