Guys I dont know what am i suppose to do with raw data.

how to process data. it's easy to process data when it's dependant on one variable . but let's assume the data is dependant on two or 4 variables for example a sport game if I have 6-1 this is not data I can work with and it's dependant on two variables. how to process it in a way to make it ready to be used in a model
one way i can think of i convert it to win loss
I also know about normalization so I want to be able to extract predictors from complex data that depends on multi variables. where should I start

I need source that explain something beyond basic examples, or unless it's abstract examples that can be implemented on complex system, the material I have doesnt work on complex systems
