I'm awake, @noble.

10 hours later…
12:41
You here, @Noble?
Hi!
Sorry, I went to sleep about a half-hour before you made the "I'm awake" comment.
:p
What time offset are you in?
I'm in EST Daylight Savings Time, or UTC/GMT-4.
12:42
I'm in UTC+8 now, at an internship in Taiwan.
Whoa, that's cool! What company are you interning for?
BoniO, but there are 6 interns which have their own team and plenty of independence.
I'm starting an IT club at my school which will use DevDoodle, so I'm working on getting some features done this summer so it'll work for that.
That sounds awesome! I have some HTML lessons on my Web site for my school's coding club, but they're kind of hard since they're made for people who already know Lua.
That's nice.
You have a lot of stuff there :)
Thanks! Also, this is kind of unrelated, but what is your opinion of Lua? I think some parts of it are really bad, like how they have local to enforce scope instead of it being enforced by default, but other parts of it like metatables seem kind of cool and novel that other languages don't have.
12:51
I don't know a whole lot about Lua.
OK. I think I might need to leave now to eat breakfast.
The code examples on Wikipedia don't look too bad. I like procedural.
I need to leave soon, so I will probably come back here tomorrow. Bye!
Bye, Noble.
(my internet sucks here)
13:40
Lua seems to be a lot like JavaScript.
