The Alternative Big O notation:

O(1) = O(yeah)
O(log n) = O(nice)
O(n) = O(k)
O(n²) = O(my)
O(2ⁿ) = O(no)
O(n!) = O(mg!)
O(n!*n) = O(rly?)

I'd better give you an opportunity for using O(2ⁿ): breakfast

Q: How to supply images to documents unpacked by l3build

Matthew LeingangI have an module that I want to manage with l3build. Unpacking a docstrip file generates a tex file. l3build doc typesets that generated tex file. But I can't figure out how to configure build.lua to enable that process to see any images that should be included. My MWE is four files (all in a ...

The next evolutionary stage after xkcdcolors: mushroom colours mushroomcoloratlas.com

@samcarter that is just \usepackage[monochrome]{color} and then eat some hallucinogenic mushrooms

@DavidCarlisle ahh :)

@samcarter just stare at the colortbl doc for long enough, for a similar effect

@DavidCarlisle you could market this as magic trick: stare at the colortbl doc for 5 minutes, then look at a white wall and you'll still see the sophisticated design :)

Unlike Lua, the kpse lua searcher doesn't say which paths it is searching. It just produces:
[kpse lua searcher] file not found: 'foobarbaz'
Any way of getting it to be more chatty?

@FaheemMitha set KPATHSEA_DEBUG to -1 see section 8.3 of the kpathsea manual

@DavidCarlisle OK. That's a Unix environmental variable?
Or maybe environment variable. I forget.

@FaheemMitha yes (not just unix) or same via --kpathsea-debug=NUMBER see luatex --help

@DavidCarlisle OK, will check, thank you.
I thought environment variables were Unix-specific. My mistake.

@FaheemMitha even windows has an environment
