Hey!
Can somebody tell me where can I find this documentation about the impossibility of adding vertical lines in the matrix environment (secion 4.1 of the amsmath package) because now I can not find it (there is no section 4.1)? Thanks!
Also, @DavidCarlisle I think there is a typo in the amsmath documentation of the CTAN page. Please look at page 4 -> find "bben". I think it should say "been"

@manooooh Hm, the link to the package documentation didn't lead to the manual, but the documented source. Try texdoc.net/texmf-dist/doc/latex/amsmath/amsldoc.pdf

@PauloCereda Quack!
@JasperLoy Hi!
@PauloCereda It's good that Fedora now supports upgrades without having to reinstall.
@JasperLoy for at least 3 years. :)
But I still stick with a clean install. :)
@PauloCereda Oh, I haven't been following the news. =) I now have a new Windows computer. =)
@JasperLoy boo. :) I am very happy with Fedora 28, and quite excited for the new one. :)
7:26 PM
@PauloCereda I have been reading the news about Brazil. You should run for the next president. =)
@JasperLoy The first duck president. :)
@TorbjørnT. thank you! Do you find the specific part where it say "array is the only environment that you can put vertical lines" or something like that?
I don't
OMG, this site is obsessed with ducks, LOL
@manooooh It doesn't say explicitly that you can't have vertical lines in a matrix, but it says that the type of columns is predefined, and that if you want anything other than c-columns you need to use array.
@TorbjørnT. okay
7:30 PM
@cis I don't know why but I almost never use man and woman no matter the age. I usually say boy or girl even if 80 years old.

@DavidCarlisle @JosephWright @UlrikeFischer Here is a luahbtex github.com/khaledhosny/luahbtex (that bundles github.com/ufyTeX/luaharfbuzz)
Next is porting github.com/tatzetwerk/luatex-harfbuzz on top of it and having “fun” debugging TeX nodelists.
@KhaledHosny wow. But I would need windows binaries to test - my knowledge about how to build them myself are up-to zero ;-(.
10:24 PM
@UlrikeFischer I’ll see if I can cross-build with mingw32, but there is not much to see right now.
11:04 PM
/start
@KhaledHosny ooh I'll look!
@manooooh texdoc amsmath brings up the userguide amsldoc.pdf and section 4.1 is about matricies.
Do you guys think a package providing means to grab an argument as a box is worth publishing?
/say
oh, he is offline :(

@Skillmon ? \def\zzz#1{\setbox0\hbox{#1}} ?
@manooooh fixed thanks
