@KeksDose unfortunately, having installed linux is waning as a sign of expertise. I have been working with linux for the past two years and I am far from calling myself an expert at anything linux :D because my laptop made strange clicking, whirring and rattle-tattle noises, yesterday, I opened it. I'm still not about to set up and open a hardware repair shop, even though, to some people, what I did yesterday would have made me look like I really know the inside workings of computers :D
@Skillmon ho! the fierce and unholy monster of Kerbenok!
@DavidCarlisle -- i don't see your "in code commsnt". however, the default (unless memory fails) is to center displays on the full text width, but this request has been made (apropos to the ams classes): "consider making option to center on current width in lists (as in article)". the problem with the suggested "fix" is that with leqno (the ams classes default) the equation number is also indented. (triggered by tex.sx question #220089) want me to explore further?
@DavidCarlisle -- thanks for localizing. don't see anything listed regarding \intertext at the end of a multiline display block. is it causing a problem?
@egreg it could do since intertext is I think often used to comment on the text above rather than the text below, why not after the last line (to get more regular spacing than if you put the text after the display)
@UlrikeFischer thanks!
@naphaneal oh yes Grammar and caPital letters, thanks for cleaning up:-0
@DavidCarlisle I deleted my other comment on the lua question. (I knew it wasn't you who downvoted, but it still seemed worth commenting. Maybe the downvoter didn't like following the link.)
