In my log file I keep getting a line from biblatex telling me to do another run. I am pretty sure everything is fine, but how do I see what it is upset about.

@samcarter OMG!!!! @DavidCarlisle's proselyte!

@AlanMunn Thank you.

@JosephWright Hi Joseph, I have seen that the graphics drivers got updated. I changed standalone yesteday so that it works with options like page again.

@MartinScharrer Yes: we've tided up here a lot (which breaks stuff ...)

@JosephWright I thought so. Is there a changelog?
One thing I noticed in pdftex driver: The \GPT@page macro is defined to \Gin@page but not used anywere else in the driver. The luatex driver does not define it (anymore).
@UlrikeFischer This would include an existing PNG but not actually build one if it is missing.

@MartinScharrer You'll be best with the Git log I think: github.com/latex3/graphics-def (there are some \changes in the graphics DTX too) . As most of the options were entirely undocumented in a formal sense, it was all somewhat tricky.
@MartinScharrer I think we needed that for pdfpages

@MartinScharrer is there a sensible default setting for "convert whatever to png"?

1:37 PM
Some time ago Adobe Reader had some issues with certain PNG files. Have anyone had similar problems with recent versions of AR or Acrobat where things looks fine on screen, but when printed random sections of text appears bold? In this case we are not including a PNG, but a PDF made from an EPS from SAS. Even eps2eps on the EPS did not change this strange problem.
When I print the file using Evince on Linux, no problems,nly in Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Reader.

2:28 PM
@daleif There is (was?) a problem with transparency in PNG files.

@yo' But this is PDF files we are including. Actually apparently it is only one of the two. I'm testing on a different printer.

@UlrikeFischer Maybe use some default DPI setting for it. Should work. Like the OP wrote, this must be added to the 'build' options so they use 'convert' as well.
@JosephWright pdfpages might have been the place I looked for inspiration originally. ;-) I'm not sure anymore. I changed it now to \Gin@page.

@yo' Seems to be printer specific. The really strange ting is: The problem persist if I convert the figures to PNG and indclude those instead. But if I print to a different printer (different maker) no issues.

2:54 PM
@MartinScharrer Cool

@CarLaTeX Look at the location of the user. The influence of @DavidCarlisle reaches all the way to the other side of the globe.

4:33 PM
@samcarter you think I have single handedly popularised pizza world wide?

@DavidCarlisle I only blame you for the addition of pineapple :)

@samcarter OMG! Pineapple pizza has reached Japan!

@DavidCarlisle I think we should have a picture of a pineapple pizza as part of the site background image.

@AlanMunn Italians will downvote it :P

@CarLaTeX Yeah, but we have the Swedes on our side.

4:40 PM
@AlanMunn and Japaneses, too!

@samcarter bad influence has spread all over the word OMG!

hey. anyone interested in having a look at that biblatex issue I mentioned here: tex.stackexchange.com/questions/364460/…

5:40 PM
@ClintEastwood citations commands use the citetitle format.

6:07 PM
@Ulrike ahh, thanks for this info. But what would I have to do then to change this then also for citations?

@daleif cause the ways how PDF files are sent to printer and processed by it are many.

@samcarter impressive

8:56 PM
@egreg you should answer this question:
I suspect that you are on a one man mission to get Ulrike above egreg in the rep tables — David Carlisle 50 mins ago

Hey guys. I do not often write here. I encountered a YouTuber who creates amazing math animations. Here's an example.
From what I researched, he uses partly LaTeX (together with python). Just as an information. I was amazed by the quality.
This is the github account related to the animations: github.com/3b1b/manim

9:44 PM
@Dr.ManuelKuehner Nice quality for silly explanation. Leibniz did like that, but he was proved wrong. ;-)
@Dr.ManuelKuehner The argument is circular.

10:07 PM
@egreg I am no mathematician but I am sure you know what you are talking about. The video was just an example. There are many more. I like the style and quality of the animations.

I am looking at some old code I used to make a pgfplot:
\pgfplotscreateplotcyclelist{fillable mark list}{%
mark=*, mark options = solid\\
mark=square*, mark options = solid\\
mark=triangle*, mark options = solid\\
mark=diamond*, mark options = solid\\
mark=pentagon*, mark options = solid\\
mark=*, mark options = solid\\
mark=square*, mark options = solid\\
mark=triangle*, mark options = solid\\
mark=diamond*, mark options = solid\\
mark=pentagon*, mark options = solid\\
}
Any idea why I felt the need to list everything twice?
Shouldn't a cycle list cycle?

@Dr.ManuelKuehner Very nice indeed.

10:26 PM
@egreg Thanks for replying. Good night :)

@DavidCarlisle oh no
@DavidCarlisle: shouldn't you be sleeping?

@PauloCereda no

@DavidCarlisle oh :)
