A: What new bits have already been implemented in LaTeX3? Will my current documents (with many packages) still compile with LaTeX3?

Certainly it's not finalized yet, but I tend to agree with Joseph that drastically altering the 'ideal' author interface is…dangerous.

Has anyone installed MacTeX 2015? I've downloaded it twice now, but the md5 sum of the download does not seem to be what is listed on the MacTeX web page.

@egreg Hi there, thanks for answering my question (dashed line). I stumbled across expl3 now for several times in your answers. Is there any more detailed manual/reference? For instance you've used \prg_replicate, but in the 18p manual I've found there is nothing about it.

After updating to MacTeX 2015, TeX Live Utility is stuck on “Validating Server…” Is anyone else having the same problem?

@AdamLiter When I downloaded it for the first time, what I actually got was MacTeX 2014, not the 2015 version. But this was not reflected in the file name of the package, so it was a bit confusing. I think not all mirrors are synchronized yet.

@SeanAllred but it may yet end up like 2.09-2e where we went to some lengths to make everything work but then changed the name \documentstyle to \documentclass anyway to make it clear which are new documents....

@DavidCarlisle I've said before that I suspect some form of DTD-like line might work, so \documentclass gets left alone. However, Frank is keen we leave all of this open until we get a working format.

@Szabolcs Recommendation is to give it a few days for an important update to circulate then install MacTeX2015

@JosephWright The advantage of having installed MacTeX over TL/pretest: the release-texlive.txt file was already there. :)

A quick question: How do I place a node B at the same position as another node A. So when I move the node A around, the B node gets moves along as well. Basically, just like right of = A, but not really "right", I want it to placed at the exact same spot, like center of = A or something.

@cfr: I talked to my vet and he suggested me to hospitalize Ciça until she enters in labour; she's very small, never gave birth before and is considered of advanced age; we want to minimize all potential problems.
