I see that nearly 10% of the electorate have already voted (38 out of 389)

@JosephWright: Is this mod-only privilege? I don't recall seeing this on the election page

@MartinTapankov Near the top of the page, just above the candidate statements, I see '389 voters are eligible for this election, 100 visited the election, and 38 voted.'
(along with 'Election closes in 7 days.')

@JosephWright: Nope, I can't see it.

@MartinTapankov Oh: I'd assumed this was there for all to see :-)
I guess I'll just have to keep everyone up to date, then

For comparison, the average turnover (is that the correct word?) seems to be around 15%-20% for all SE sites that had elections so far, with most of them towards the lower end of this range.

8:34 AM
@MartinTapankov We'd say 'turnout' in the UK :-)
I'd agree that if we get 20% then that would be in the normal range

They now change the number of "flag for moderator attention" someone can give: meta.stackoverflow.com/questions/79742/…
Just if anyone wonders why there is now a "flag weight" line below the image on the user page. 100 is normal, higher is better.

@MartinScharrer I see you're already at 250!
To be honest, the weighting system is not so relevant to us
It's more useful on bigger sites

Let's introduce some normality into this election. Does anyone want to buy my vote? Actually, given that it seems to be a reverse election, I should sell my anti-votes (better for me as I have five of them!). So, how much am I bid to not vote for you?

@AndrewStacey: Funny how people would always find a way to skew the vote even in reverse election :-)

We really need a shorthand for "TeX and friends" because using "TeX" to mean "TeX and friends" confuses people who think you mean "TeX only"...
Could someone edit the tag wiki for it's not clear what it is supposed to be for...

hey can someone tell me a way to force latex to continue execution even after 100 errors
plz reply asap.. i need to submit a report

2:02 PM
@DarkKnight: Try to run it with the -interaction=nonstopmode option or with the \nonstopmode macro.

i cannot fix the errors because the latex is huge and generated by another program
i am already using nonstopmode
it does not help
please any other ideas?

2:29 PM
@DarkKnight You might have better luck asking a question on the main site.

Yes, and mention what kind of errors you get and which other program you used to generate the LaTeX code. This would be helpful.

3:11 PM
@DarkKnight It's not LaTeX, it's TeX, and as far as I know you can't alter this.
100 errors means 'fix the issue', I'm afraid

If there is a suggested tag wiki edit that I don't entirely like, is there a way to add a comment to the author?

8:21 PM
I tried to finally write a description for : “This tag is for question about LaTeX as a whole and the LaTeX Project. If possible, it should be avoided in favor of more specific tags.” Is this the correct?
