@AndrewStacey: Done. The first image shows tangent at the final point behaving as it should, but tangent at the initial point being overridden by tangent at the second point. The second image shows undesired tangent options being imposed at both the initial and final points. The third shows things behaving nicely when there are no tangent options specified for either the first two or the last two points.
