@JoeStrazzere No. I think anyone who wants to live a life aligned with their values will choose to do this on their own.

@RockPaperLizard If you demand that your employer agree with all of your values, self-employment is pretty much the only option. And even then, your clients won't all agree with your values. So that doesn't even change much. The reality is that you should learn to live with people you disagree with since most everyone in the world is going to disagree with you about something, unless you'd rather live in total isolation.

@jpmc26 Your premise is false. No one is demanding anything. There are many options for people who want to work for companies with agreeable values. Self-employment is one option, but hardly the only one. It's hypocritical that you tell people how they should act in the same sentence that you proclaim that everyone "should learn to live with people you disagree with". Your extremist viewpoint that the only other option is to "live in total isolation" is an erroneous conclusion.

Any vulgarity in the workplace is bad form. The care is parked in the workplace, the car has a vulgarity on it, it is bad form. This is not free speech, this is professionalism. It will reflect very poorly on you when you have to explain to your next employer that it was more important enough to you to have a dirty word on your car than it was to demonstrate a bit of refinement and class

In general, avoid any bumper stickers on your car that are political in nature or contain vulgarities. Combine the two and you're asking for a free trip to the employment line.

@JoeStrazzere Your conduct and immature attempts at insulting others means I will not be spending my time responding to you. That's not a way to have a discussion and not the purpose of this chat room.
