Just a question. There is no such thing as X@ in a MATLAB for loop, right? Just @

So, you're always bound to use for idx=1:length(vector);val=vector(idx) if you need both val and idx

@Sanchises Yes, or you could do for k = [1:numel(vector); vector(:).'] and then k contains both the index and value
