@Suever It does happen sometimes, yes. Not sure when it happens it's always the first time
I'll do a little digging on that to see what's happening. It seems to happen randomly for me as well and I don't ever see any errors in the server logs
so probably on the browser side of things
i.e. the not so fun side
@Suever :-)
Ok just pushed a fix for the " issue
give that a try and see how that works out for you

Is wx the golfiest way to delete the first output of 2? It's definitely shorter than FT#...
20:21
@beaker Well depending on the number of outputs you can use the "mod" output spec
so if you have 3 outputs, 5# will give you only the second output
i.e. 5 % 3
in this case there are only 2 outputs... i only need the 2nd
but that's not really shorter than wx
yea so that would be 4#
hm... but does it look better... ;)
hahaha no clue
What function is it?
hehe... thanks! just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything
Y!
run-length encoding
I only want to keep the counts, not the array values
20:25
Oh in that case, just use &Y!
the "secondary default" is the second output only
1; 2 (2 / 2nd)
Oh! I completely missed that!
Sweet! :D
that's one byte off!
Yea those & will sneak up on you
I always assume that the thing I want is going to be a secondary default
Since we chose them based upon how functions were actually used
oops, I meant Y', but you caught that ;)
haha yup caught it and didn't even realize I caught it
holy cow... GS2 answer is 2 bytes

@Suever Works perfectly \o/
@beaker What's that challenge?

Q: Groups of repeating items

shooqieChallenge description Given a list / array of items, display all groups of consecutive repeating items. Input / output description Your input is a list / array of items (you can assume all of them are of the same type). You don't need to support every type your language has, but is has to supp...

@LuisMendo that one
Great answer!
The code looks funny with the open curly brace :-)
it is a bit backwards... that and all the yYY
sorry, was I talking about the wrong thing? :")
@beaker ?? Your comment just reminded me about MATL's why function :-D
22:39
ah :D
Pity that that 1 is needed in mat2cell
yeah, I tried to get around it, but no go
22:57
I'm still amazed at the number of general programming posts we get on PP&CG
23:13
Yes, the name programming puzzles" seems to suggest general programming questions for some new users
Doorknob was quick :-)
well, he's right there on the front door, he sees them as they come in
;)
Hahaha
Starred! :-D
I just pushed this:
* `X[` now has a default number of outputs equal to the number of elements of first input
* Corrected bug in `X[`, which gave an error when used with one output
that's ind2sub?
