I disagree. You can speculate on that specific case. But you get very little information out of the episode

You can speculate that killing the person might qualify as completing the task, and that they can convince themselves that they've completed a task, although even that isn't very explicit, and to what extent that's true (I'm guessing you saw the same threads I saw)

The stickler Meeseeks doesn't stop existing when they all do means it's a subjective thing on whether or not the task is complete. They all seem to assume killing Jerry fulfils their task. Point 1 + Point 2 = Task complete

Well they have me keep track, so I do

I can't work overtime or flexitime but they make it up by being flexible if we need to leave early or get in late every now and then

And every now and then we stay late but I've only done that twice I think
