There are no switch statements in Python, you'd have to self implement, so I just did if elif

Another question, is it quicker to do multiple conditions in my if or nested if statements?

Write what's most readable and what makes most sense

If Python behaves like C# it's "quicker" to have one if cos if a is false then b is not evaluated in the following if (a && b)
