@grg was able to solve by hitting send and waiting a while. After it was out of the input box it worked fine. I think the input box apple uses it just not optimized.

It looks like Apple open sourced their securityd implementation
I'm shocked. But someone could probably easily reverse engineer how everything works. I even found the error message.
