I want to vote to close this question, because the user asked the same question yesterday and that got closed. Notably, this version is significantly better over the original, it's just that it should have been an edit instead of a new question. @Wowfunhappy Yes, VTC is appropriate. Usually you can't mark a question as duplicate when the original doesn't have an answer, but the system makes an exception for this exact case, where both questions are asked by the same user. I closed the duplicate before seeing your message here, and I agree VTC is appropriate.

@Wowfunhappy thank you. And flag for mod help - use other. Explain that this is much better than the other question so we can apply edits to the first and reopen it (or anyone could edit the first to be the best version and vote to reopen)

Let’s not over punish someone new on minutia like which close order is best. If they came back with details we should help them learn how to edit and not force them to master everything when they are new to the process and tools. (IMHO)

Basically. VTC according to the rules and then bend over backwards to make it as right as you can after doing your duty.
