You know with all the rumors about ML releasing on the 25th, I can't help but think that it would be kinda funny if Apple seeded those rumors. Tim said they were doubling down on product secrecy...What if Apple seeded all those rumors to say that ML will release Wed., and release it earlier (or later) than that?

Seeding rumors is a completely legitimate tactic that numerous companies employ.
Used either to snuff out a leak, or just in general.

If the point if rumours is to seed expectation, interest, and possible enthusiasm, regardless of accuracy, then I reckon they are probably playing it about right by utterly ignoring everyone and everything and letting the internet work for them for free.

It's all tweaks from here on in. The sync stuff, for open tabs etc are what interest me.
