I found definitive duplicate question that was answered by the questioner himself, but he rejected my edit (I have very low reputation since I am very new tbh): this is the question in question: apple.stackexchange.com/q/379745/355336
@bmike Maybe using something like Rogue Amoeba's Sound Source would help - but I'm not really up for the 20 questions of how to use a compressor & limiter in a 'loudness wars'-type output structure.
@bmike hi, I noticed my edit to the answer for this question was rejected. almost everyone has an encrypted backup, and as I was searching for the same goal as OP, having found a solution myself for the encrypted case, I thought that would be useful to everyone else. I fail to see how my edit "deviates from the original intent of the post", it's not a "drastic changes" edit, I just added the solution for the case of an encrypted backup (the case against I've hit my head on).
@JBis There's a lot going on write now on SE as a whole, but as bmike and yourself already wrote: The AD community is doing well, and I hope it will keep doing that for the time to come.
Also, we have so many active members now driving the site forward and keeping the community alive that the role of the elected moderators is far less important than it used to be.
@CostinGușă You should have gotten a rejection reason after your first edit was rejected. And I agree with bmike: please post a separate answer explaining your solution.
Why I changed the title was to highlight the core issue, otherwise it is an XY problem. I left some questions in the body so that an answer(or as a comment like yours) can address them. I removed the final line as it was asked already in the post.
