Interesting, the bot meta post has gotten +4 and -2. Would like to know reasons for opposition so it can be discussed and voted on.

@JBis Totally agree with @nohillside - but, just to expand on that a little, we basically encourage AppleScript, Automator, UNIX shell scripting (and even JXA) questions as they're all user level tools that can be used to automate actions in macOS, so in this way they rarely cross the line into being code level questions (e.g. for software development), which of course is off-topic.

I suppose it's a bit like we allow questions specifically about how to use Xcode itself, but not code level questions within Xcode.

@JBis there might be AppleScript questions which lean heavily towards StackOverflow (and where a migration might be useful). But in general, AS is ok.
