@LisaAnn Hi LisaAnn, that post re adding all the highlights as an answer to your meta post was intended for me. :)

@LisaAnn and @JBis - we need a question here to be able to answer. I would note that the chat here is confusing internet and network - Bounjour is local only and nothing to do with internet.

Comments were a little harsh on the edit review. The information provided ended up being relevant to my particular use case & the formatting wa easily improved.
Also, Hello World! I don’t think I’ve poked my head in here before.

@Mark I don't understand what you are saying. Bonjour uses the internet.

4:48 PM
I thought Bonjour is for local networks - internet is the collection of local networks Bonjour names map under DNS to the .local domain. Wikipedia says "Bonjour provides a general method to discover services on a local area network. "

Ok it's settled. The software team at Apple deserves a raise. The shortcuts app is amazing.
@Mark Yes. Local networks is still the internet.
And another raise for that
Oh an for the record, it pronounces it wrong
WOW. That just adds so much functionality.

OMG you can hook iOS up to API's
Only thing they need is handlers. So it can start unprompted.

Since when does Apple like devs?
Shortcuts supports JSON and XML
And you can run JS on pages!
Wow.
@Mods I think we should discuss what's on topic here? Do we want to allow JS, JSON, XML, API, Python, questions now that they are supported in Shortcuts or should that remain on SO? We do allow AppleScript, Bash, and Workflow questions for macOS so I wonder how this will work. I guess I might have to ask on meta.
