@Matt I guess it's like DIY, with metalworking, woodworking, painting, plumbing - lots of different areas of expertise under one roof. I think it's good to have a broad but clearly defined umbrella though.

It can be circumvented by coming up with more unique and creative wording.

Honestly, the broader definition is a better excerpt for that one:

How odd is that... the wiki is certainly a better choice... there's no reason to keep it so short.

And we really need to get the CMs to approve the edits. I sent in two of them yesterday as a test and neither have been approved yet.

Surely something is better than empty excerpt.

Yeah... I have the same problem... fortunately, answers get you more rep, though the questions are needed first. I've never been good at coming up with questions, though. The only place I ask questions is on Meta (including Meta.SE).
