@Joe I missed that. That is truly impressive! In the county I lived in for 20+ years and had my farmette, 40% of all captured ticks carried Lyme. Can you imagine? Ugh.

Ugh, yeah, I can believe that. Missouri does have some prevalence of ticks - I think 4-5% have the markers - so I don't know why they have so few cases.
We're in the Bay Area now though so no ticks whatsoever unless we go pretty far afield ...
