@Joe I think its okay, since I would imagine that there are a number of published guidelines that address this fairly comprehensively.
Answers should focus on what studies have shown to be "best practice", rather than specific legal requirements
To me, in order for it to qualify as medical advice, it would have to be something like "my son was sitting in the front seat, and we got into an accident; now he says his neck hurts, and complains about headaches. Did he get whiplash?"
