Q: Plagiarism flag and moderator tooling launching to Stack Overflow

CatijaWe're excited to share that tomorrow (22 March 2023), we'll be launching a new suite of tools to help users and moderators on Stack Overflow handle plagiarized questions, answers, and articles. We've been working on this in collaboration with the community here and moderators, who got a preview o...

@Starshipisgoforlaunch it's a site setting, so we can release it whenever a site indicates they want it changed but we'd need a meta discussion that indicates it's needed. — Catija ♦ 7 hours ago
I don't know if this would be useful, nor do I know how many plagiarism flags the AU mods handle, but I thought it was worth posting anyways in case it is something that would be helpful here on AU

Please explain something to me...
A dupe pointing to another closed question. Is this intentional?
It seems both questions have many upvoted answers - so why are they closed?
Is it because questions like this have to be a bit more specific, like this one?

Q: Are there any programming languages for Ubuntu Server with a web interface for their IDE?

Wim ten BrinkI have Ubuntu 22.04 installed with WebMin and Cockpit as useful web interfaces. This allows me to SSH into this server either directly through SSH or through the web interface of either web application. Which makes it very useful to manage these systems without too much trouble. Especially since...

That specifically asks for IDE's with a web interface? Or similarly, if I would like to know: Which IDE's are available for CLI/GUI etc.? Would that fit current site criteria?
I believe there is a great a number of open and highly upvoted questions and answers that follow the format: "Which solutions are available on Ubuntu for <insert need here>?"
I fixed the answer here, to have correct installation of keys from the official repos..

A: MongoDB Install Fails on Ubuntu 22.04 - Depends on libssl1.1 but it is not installable

128KBthe new official (and secure) fix for this is: wget -qO - https://www.mongodb.org/static/pgp/server-6.0.asc | gpg --dearmor | sudo tee /usr/share/keyrings/mongodb.gpg > /dev/null echo "deb [ arch=amd64,arm64 signed-by=/usr/share/keyrings/mongodb.gpg ] https://repo.mongodb.org/apt/ubuntu jammy/m...

In my opinion both of the closed questions are okay and shouldn't have been closed. Yes, they can have many answers, but are not opinion-based because both ask specific things: the first what IDEs exist (a huge number, but certainly finite) and the other IDEs that support C (certainly less than the previous and still finite). I would happily vote to reopen both, but I would appreciate the opinion of a mod on the matter before doing that. (cc @andrew.46)
(I cannot ping Zanna, because she hasn't been here for a while, but Zanna, if you see that, please share your opinion :) )
@ArturMeinild This doesn't look like the same error...
Also the formatting of the question needed a bit more love. ;)

@BeastOfCaerbannog Maybe you're right - it's different scenarios, but the correct answer is the same. Nevermind
I was just pretty sure there has been a ton of questions about installing MongoDB on 22.04, so that new one can't possibly be the first

@ArturMeinild Indeed. I guess that this one is a better dupe target: askubuntu.com/questions/606478/…
I added it to the question.

I wonder how big the intersecting population between Ubuntu and Embroidery is - it might be bigger than you think! 🤔😁
