not sure this edit suggestion is needed or that the interpretation expressed in the edit summary is correct
this edit suggestion seems likely to be correct (although the added meta commentary text should definitely not be added) but I have no idea why the echo was there... maybe it really should be there for some weird reason
@Zanna Indeed man rfkill says that: The command "list" output format is deprecated and maintained for backward compatibility only. The new output format is the default when no command is specified or when the option --output is used.
However, for older systems rfkill without any arguments will probably not show the same output. Perhaps the best thing is to reject the edit and add a note to use rfkill list in older systems and rfkill with no arguments in newer.
@Zanna I commented. I don't think we should neither accept nor reject the edit until the OP answers if there is a specific reason for it.
If we finally accept it, perhaps we have to also deal with the other answer, which actually is an answer to this comment. Or maybe it should be converted to a comment either way.
@RandomPerson Thanks! The changes look fine, especially the ones on the table.
@RandomPerson I'd suggest the Debian pastebin as it can be accessed without having to log in, contrary to the Ubuntu pastebin. But of course the choice should be yours, since you're the author of the question and the sharer of the code. :)
reopen - The question was closed as a bug report, but it wasn't intended as such. The OP looks for a workaround, and in fact it does have a nice one that is also marked as the solution.
