@RandomPerson well I do realise that you have other stuff to do and it takes time to get one's thoughts together, typing is hard etc, but updating a question to clarify a week after answers that misinterpret your question have been posted is a bit of a minefield and I'm not really sure what to do

that's alright... it's just that I can't make any significant changes to my existing answer as people have already voted on it

@Zanna But one thing which I can say for sure is that I didn't focus about answers. I focussed about comments since the very beginning.

like, if I ask a question and people answer it and the answer isn't what I was really looking for, I just ask a new question, because the answer may have value for others

whether I wrote my question properly or not at the time doesn't matter - once a story has been told it is loose in the world

because it's not like you changed the meaning of your question, just the intended meaning was unexpected, at least to me (and at least one other person who commented about the meaning of the question)
