@karel Or anyone who review suggested edits please askubuntu.com/review/suggested-edits/1190555 this edit has a paragraph repeated twice, so If you approve it make sure to edit and remove the repeated paragraph (I am talking about the last paragraph). Thanks

2:35 AM
@someone I'll check back on the suggested edit later on today to make sure that there is not a repeated paragraph at the end of the answer.

Anyone know why Pressing EOF (Ctrl+D) exits from the while loop was off-topic? It's about "Development on Ubuntu" (listed in the on-topic guidance). Could it have been another backlash again on-topic WSL posts or is there something I'm missing in it? Backlash against a possible homework question?
Don't get me wrong, it would probably be more appropriate on Stack Overflow, but I'm just not seeing why it was off-topic here.
@someone Thanks for pointing it out - Fixed it on review.

@someone Now that the suggested edit is fixed, my suggestion for the next time something like that happens is that you can revise your own suggested edit at any time as long as the edit hasn't been either approved or rejected.

@NotTheDr01ds Thanks, the suggested edit was by me only so, yeah, I by mistake added repeated paragraphs. IMHO you should have removed the paragraph which was above, as it said "You will get a dialog box" then the image, and then the para but instead you did "You will get a dialog box, para, image" but anyway thanks
@karel How do I do that? The edit button disappears after I suggest an edit on the post and also, I don't have a 2k rep to review edits

2:50 AM
Treat the revision like an ordinary edit and re-edit it by pressing the gray "Edit" link underneath the post.

Okay

@NotTheDr01ds It looks like a platform independent C++ programming question that would be more appropriate on Stack Overflow.

askubuntu.com/review/suggested-edits/1190703. Ok, I am sorry! I again made a mistake. As Zanna recommended me I didn't fix the syntax of the image. Now the image is not clickable, so before approving the edit (If you will) make sure you correct the syntax
@karel Flagged
Needs edit - askubuntu.com/q/1380315/1460940. A lot of typos
Needs code formatting - askubuntu.com/q/1380525/1460940
I have to do some work, so cannot edit them right now, hope so someone else will edit it soon. Thanks

Hi, the image was like this and I cropped it and blurred the email. Is the edit acceptable? askubuntu.com/review/suggested-edits/1190709

@someone this is a common type of spam ^
a real-looking answer because it's copy-pasted from somewhere, with a spam link added

But I edited it @Zam a

flag as spam if you see things like this
edited what?

I edited the question to remove spam
And improved formatting
:/

what question?

Oops sorry, I mean the answer

12:49 PM
it does not show any edit by you
anyway spam should not be edited
just flag it

I suggested an edit and removed spam? Isn't that ok ?

no

Ok

don't edit spam

Okay, but the person was a little oversmart

12:50 PM
I don't see any edit suggested by you there
did you suggest an edit to a different spam post?

OT Launchpad Bug #1945011

@Zanna No I am pretty sure it was the CPS post

Journeyman Geek I guess
@someone hmm weird

I just did it almost a minute ago

12:52 PM
it was deleted 5 minutes ago

What ?
Probably time passes really fast
I can prove it if you undelete the post

I'm not going to undelete that post
I am able to see the post and its timeline

Yeah,

it was edited by Thunderbird

But lost recently it was edited by the OP of the answer itself (If I remember)

12:55 PM
this is publically viewable ^
@someone yes, you are correct

@Zanna that is great because almost every suggestion is approve :P
I hate the new look though

yeah it sucks

@Zanna that word doesn't suit you LOL
@Zanna For telling him about the weekend thing? Haha

@someone In some cultures, people say thanks a lot

Today a person revealed his Email address and google password in a question, I quickly edited it to blur both the things in the image but someone could have misused it, What to do in that case? Is anyone responsible for anything that happens? Should we just blur out it? What if someone checks the revisions? The question was deleted afterward as the problem was due to a bad network connection speed.
@Zanna that is good!

@someone This comment is obsolete because of a subsequent edit that clarified the question. Please delete it.

@karel done

@someone you can flag it and request a "redaction", explaining the problem, and mods will deal with it
@someone I agree
:)

@someone I just "improved" one of your edits... you had put a whole paragraph in italics for no discernible reason. Please avoid this thanks :)

I flagged a post as spam (not linking here to avoid Meta Effect), but all my other flags are either declined or helpful. This one is dipusted. What does that mean?
Wait I found this... meta.stackexchange.com/questions/95275/what-is-a-disputed-flag but I still don't understand why the post in question isn't spam. Can someone clarify that for me? Even though their repo is relevant, it seems like it is link-only at best and spam at worst... so I'm having trouble understanding what exactly happened to said answer

A: Multiple monitors with i3 window manager

ZarfirIf you are interested, I made a script that automates several monitors. the github link: https://github.com/Zarfir/Screenz

AFAIK, link-only answers are not answers, and given that it was the OPs own GitHub repo, I'm having trouble understanding why the answer is OK, given that both Spam and NAA's are... well... bad
