Q: Ubuntu 12.04 stops responding

JoyWhenever I try to adjust the brightness control just after the OS boots Ubuntu seems to crash. This behaviour is new and I noticed it after re-installing Ubuntu 12.04. Can you guys help me out, it is quite irritating. Regards, Joy
