Q: What posts/comments fall under bigotry of any kind?

Triyugi Narayan ManiAccording to the Be nice policy: Language likely to offend or alienate individuals or groups based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, etc. will not be tolerated. At all. (Those are just a few examples; when in doubt, just don't.) I have recently flagged a comment that was saying...

@TriyugiNarayanMani That is bit tricky question, Btw, not all find that comment offensive but yes, the part of comment you emphasized can be removed.

@Pandya Yes. My concerns are only with the part in bold.
All scriptures (almost) were written by Brahmins only so saying only that part is added by Brahmins for discrimination is not right
So only that part may be edited.

@TriyugiNarayanMani ok. It's fixed.

@Pandya Thanks.

One minor correction: it should be Apastamba Dharma Sutras, not Apastamba Dharma Shastra, and similarly for Gautama, Baudhayana, and Vasishta. They are Dharmashastra texts, but their actual names are Dharma Sutras because they're in aphoristic format. By the way, two other Dharmashastra texts you might want to read are the Yagnavalkya Smriti and the Vaikhanasa Dharma Sutras. I can give you links if you're interested. — Keshav Srinivasan ♦ yesterday
@TriyugiNarayanMani just remembered I wanted to point out the same thing which Keshav pointed out.

@Pandya - BTw completed 2 books of Mahabharata. The book is amazing . Even given 2-3 answers from it. But i think more fascinating than Puranas. The version is gita press one.
I am late in the discussion due to some reason. But Shall we now discuss about regaining those points somehow? — SwiftPushkar 9 mins ago
@Pandya - Is it appropriate to ask question regarding this ⬆️ i mean a kind of request to CM or you people can do that on the behalf of community. BTW don't know the updates regarding this though.

@SwiftPushkar Very Nice. I think if you'll write an answer here, it will definitely be longer than that of mine!
@SwiftPushkar I think such issue was already discussed on MSE, let me see...

Q: Don't throw away all votes when a user is deleted

Mad ScientistCurrently, when a moderator deletes a user all of the user's votes are removed along with the user himself. I was pretty surprised at this behaviour when I first heard about it, and I don't think it is a good idea to throw away all of the votes just because the user is deleted. Votes are locked ...

Q: What does "user was removed" mean and why did my reputation change because of it?

aef Message appearing when a user was removed. It seems I lost 5 reputation points on Stack Overflow yesterday. The reason given in my history is "removed", with the description of "User was removed (learn more)". I don't understand what that means. What caused this? Return to FAQ index

Q: Wiping votes on deletion of highly active accounts (-865 points on "User was removed")

seheUpdate As MadScientist quite aptly pointed out this is also highly relevant: Don't throw away all votes when a user is deleted at +523 votes, feature-request I was greeted by this screen just an hour ago: After a little bit of digging and conjecturing, I worked out that the user removed wa...
