@KeshavSrinivasan - is there any info in Narayaneeyam abt. vyuha avataras ?
@KeshavSrinivasan - found some info in blogs. -Vishnu assumes five forms:
1.The Para Form.-Paravasudeva – Para is the highest form of Vishnu found only in Sri Vaikuntha
2.The Vyuha form.Krishna,Sankarshana, Anirudda, Pradyumna: The Vyuhas are emanations from the above mentioned Para Vasudeva form, and are four in number, collectively called, Catur Vyuha Brahman
3.The Vibhava form: Apart from the Vyuhas the Lord is said to assume various manifestations, from time to time, to protect the virtuous, punish the evil-doers(wicked) and re-establish Dharma.

@KrishnShweta Oh, you've learned the first verse of the Hayagriva Stotram? That's great. The Hayagriva Stotram was composed by the Sri Vaishnava Acharya Vedanta Desikan.

09:31
@SwiftPushkar Yes I have seen it. Where did you find it?
@SreeCharan - unfortunately , lost that link , i have that somewhere , will give you that later on ..:)
@SreeCharan - also wiki says so ...en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harishchandra
@SreeCharan @SwiftPushkar what is Rajasuya?
@SwiftPushkar In wikipedia article, it is there that Vishwamitra cursed 5 dikpalakas to be born as humans, who were they? Ashwini devatas are not among the 8 dikpalakas.
@KrishnShweta It is a sacrifice done by an emperor who declares himself as the emperor of that region. It is done by Yudishtira in Mahabharata.
@SreeCharan some more explanation please.
09:46
Will you read it from mahabharata? I will give you the link @Krishnshwetha
@SreeCharan Antha vaddu. em sacrifice?
It is a yaagam.
Who accepts the emperor as the king will become saamantaas and pay some yearly taxes to the king from their revenues. The king will be called "Sarvabhauma" @KrishnShweta
@SreeCharan Nenu animal sacrifice ankunna ^^
09:53
animal sacrifices will be there in ashwamedha yaagam and some other yaagas. I don't know the complete process of the yagas. @Keshav would explain well.@Krishnshweta
@SwiftPushkar Oh ok, that is Narayana Bhattar's poem. I'm not sure if Narayaba Bhattar's discusses Vyuha forms.
@KeshavSrinivasan I didn't found anything on your Twitter account. I was expecting something other than Hinduism and politics
@SwiftPushkar By the way, I posted a question about another work by Narayana Bhattar here:
6
Q: Where does the Advaitin commentator Anandagiri discuss the authenticity of Hindu stories?

Keshav SrinivasanAs I discuss in this question, by far the most popular school of Hindu philosophy is the Vedanta school, which bases its tenets on the doctrines laid out in the Brahma Sutras, a work by the sage Vyasa that summarizes and systematizes the philosophical teachings of the Upanishads. (You can read th...

@KrishnShweta Haha yeah, I'm not really an active Twitter user. I mainly use it to follow other people.
@KeshavSrinivasan I've seen "followers" and "following" list also ^^
@SreeCharan Bye! We will talk later.
@KrishnShweta Bye.
10:57
@KeshavSrinivasan - Ok , Actually i was inquiring details from Narayaniya , Shanti parva but ended in finding that , any way i already seen your question😊👍

5 hours later…
16:11
@SwiftPushkar Oh ok, I discuss what the Narayaniya section of the Shanti Parva has to say about Vyuha forms in my answer here:
13
A: Is there any scripture that tells story about Lord Vishnu and MahaVishnu?

Keshav SrinivasanFirst of all, yes, there is a notion of a greater Vishnu and a lesser Vishnu. This concept is expressed in simplest terms in this chapter of the Vishnu Purana: Affecting then the quality of activity, Hari, the lord of all, himself becoming Brahmá, engaged in the creation of the universe. Vis...

16:34
@KeshavSrinivasan what to do with this answer which adevertizes the blog.
0
A: Is our destiny predetermined? If yes, then why do our actions affect our karma?

Simply HinduHinduism classifies Karma as Sanchita Karma and Prarabdha Karma. In Vedanta, the following analogy is used to explain Karma. A bowman stands aiming at a distant target. He takes out an arrow from the quiver and releases it. While the arrow is floating through the air, the bowman takes another ar...

12
A: What kind of references are valid in answers? Are modern works allowed?

SaiFrom lowest quality to highest quality of references (according to me). Wrong reference [for example, misquoting] These should be avoided as they could be misleading. Missing reference (for example, a link that doesn't work] These are to be avoided, if the answer contains only the link. Extre...

> Blogs are usually unreliable and they simply contain other people's views.
@Pandya i think we should delete those answers.
The concern here is adevertizing besides unreliability.
@TheDestroyer Yes, I think one's advertising of blogs can be considered as spam.
@TheDestroyer How aobut ^^?
@Pandya Even i will flag it as spam.
@Pandya Flagged it.
16:50
@TheDestroyer You'll see it will be automatically downvoted also.
@Pandya Yeah. I downvoted too .
17:05
@Pandya What about this answer
-1
A: Who are the daughters of Lord Shiva? What are their stories?

Devendar AgarwalMany must have heard all the incidents and stories of Lord Shiva but very few are aware about his children. We all know that he had two sons Kartikeya and Ganesha but in reality he had three sons and three daughters. Surprising but true! Shiva’s three daughters are worshipped even today in differ...

@TheDestroyer I know s/he is advertising but not sure whether should be voted as spam or not.
@Pandya Why? He is adevertizing that site. It's very clear. We need one more vote to delete that answer.
Btw, @sv. has helped him/her which I don't think reasonable (I mean s/he doesn't deserve it in my opinion that's why I've voted off-topic.
@TheDestroyer oh! I can't neither see delete votes nor vote to delete.
@Pandya Yes, @sv is helping everyone these days. haha..
@TheDestroyer Haha
17:10
@Pandya Go to tools and see delete vote tab
@TheDestroyer oh! yes, I can see. Thanks!
but can't vote.
@TheDestroyer [To me] Go to tools as a hacker and vote to delete! Haha
@Pandya ohh..can't vote?
I think you can vote to delete if flag as low quality.
@TheDestroyer no. 10k+ (here 2k+) users can only vote to delete on question not on answer. Trusted user (20k+ i.e 4k+ here) can vote to delete question as well as answer.
@Pandya No. I think after 2k+ rep on beta sites, everyone can vote to delete low quality (not delete) low quality posts through review.
Btw, I'm not giving much time to this site these days due to somewhat busyness.
17:18
@KeshavSrinivasan How is your new president? 😀😁
@TheDestroyer Are you talking through review? yes, I was talking through delete button/link. Btw, 0 low quality post is review-able to me.
@TheDestroyer I heard many people of US are against with (or say don't like) new president!
@Pandya Yes. Through review.
@Pandya Many of them are left liberals with our Keshava too. :P
Media is controlled by liberals in US like in India. So, they rant against right wing people. like how Indian Media always blames Modi and RSS. But we shouldn't compare Modi and Trump either.
2
Hmm...
@TheDestroyer Btw, Do you have any idea whether democracy in India in ancient time? or Do any scripture discuss/say any thing like democratic nation or state in ancient time?
@Pandya I don't think India had democracy in Ancient India.
@TheDestroyer I also think so.
How about asking such question in our site?
I've just found related question:
2
Q: Democracy in Hinduism

AADHinduismMost of the kings and rulers in Ancient Hinduisms almost always are dynastic. They got the kingdom just because they are born to king. Ramayana is the classic example: Lord Rama is born as the eldest son of Kaushalya and Dasharatha, ruler of Ayodhya Kingdom. As per the traditions during those t...

17:29
@Pandya BTW, though democracy is great, it has flaws. During election compaign, those who donate money to political parties influence decisions later. Like Capitalists such as Reliance Industries donated amount to BJP during 2014 elections and always Gun vendors donate money in US. So, this makes system less accountable sometimes. I like Ancient India where Kings were loyal and Dharmic and they follow Dharma as mentioned in Hindu Scriptures.
I think election should be open :P
@Pandya Open means?
@TheDestroyer not गुप्त मतदान
@Pandya But how will it stop donations to Political parties? They need money for campaigns.
"I like Ancient India where Kings were loyal and Dharmic and they follow Dharma as mentioned in Hindu Scriptures." is peerless
Only thought can change the world not any rules or procedures!
@TheDestroyer What do you think about ^^?
17:35
@Pandya Yeah. Dharma of our Scriptures.
@TheDestroyer Yes.
@Pandya Yes. Our thoughts or behaviour decide. Even laws can only reduce evil to certain extent but can't annihilate evil completely.
@SwiftPushkar ji, why Mouna Vrata? Somavara Vrata?
😀😁
I think he is waiting for completion of our discussion! Haha
@TheDestroyer - Hey bro , No such a thing , you people were discussing , so .. , i came later , so wasn't knowing abt. the topic 😊 , nothing else 👍👍👍
@SwiftPushkar why removed? I didn't see it
17:45
@TheDestroyer Haha, he's horrible.
@KeshavSrinivasan karma of America😁
18:17
@TheDestroyer- oh , that was the same message , so deleted ..😊
@Pandya @TheDestroyer By the way, I'm a Hindu monarchist. I'm against democracy.
18:34
