@SreeCharan In Advaita, Soul in reality is Nirguna Brahman (Sat-Chit- Ananada = ever existing pure blissfull consciousness).

Due to maya, it sees many dualities.

now, Why Maya exists in first place?

We can't answer this as we are in Maya. A wall of ignorance stops us from knowing this.

Nirguna Brahman assumes himself to many dualities but in reality he is not assuming.

We say he himself assumed because to understand in Maya. Such is delusive power of Maya.

Vivekananda says, maya itself is Maya. It is not eternal like Nirguna Brahman because it ceases to exist after Moksha.

@SreeCharan Only Jeevanmukta will know the reason but he can't explain to us as maya deludes them.

But after Moksha, soul will realize itself as Nirguna Brahman.

Saguna Brahman disappears.

@SreeCharan As Saguna Brahman (Brahma, Vishnu and Maheshwara) disappears after Moksha, there no meaning of Supremacy between different Devas or Vishnu and Shiva. Nirguna Brahman has no qualities or gender.

@SreeCharan All philosphies are true in Maya. In Maya, some people feel Vishnu as true and true and they have their own logics, and some others say Shiva. They are relatively true. Advaita can engulf all philosophies. But other philosophies evolve but Advaita won't. Advaita gives importance to the one who doesn't change. But in Visistadvaita, changing things or entities are real.

Changing things can't be real. Me and Keshav had discussion long ago. See it.

@KeshavSrinivasan Advaita says Maya itself is Maya and no Acharya of Advaita can really say the reason why maya exists? All they can say is Maya is Maya and no use in knowing the reason as it is simply Maya and doesn't exist. Can Visistaadvaita explain reason for existence of Maya?

@SreeCharan No. I didn't get satisfactory answer. Also, i read arguments of Vaishnava Acharyas who supports supremacy of Vishnu. They just cherrypicked verses. They didn't even mention one verse from Sri Rudram, which is from Samhitas. I think they are all die hard vishnu devotees. Now, they interpret Sri Rudram after proposing Supremacy of Vishnu (from cherrypicked verses) and say Antaryami of Rudra is Vishnu. I found it as illogical.

Gaudiyas say they are two Rudras.(Their arguments are still interesting)... haha..

@SreeCharan All names in Vedas are pure attributes. We shouldn't bother about name at all. So, i found Adviata as true and logical.

@SreeCharan This is Ati Prasna in Advaita. Maya won't allow us to know reason for this, as you are in Maya.

If you think Maya won't exist, then it makes world real for you.

But after realizing Maya doesn't exist in reality. So, Advaitins don't give much importance to Maya which is not eternal like Nirguna Brahman. For them it is beyond logical analysis. Only Jivanmukta can know.

@SreeCharan I found arguments logical til Maya but let me realize to know the why "Maya is created"? though in reality it doesn't exist. Jiva thinks Maya is there due to inherent nature of Maya.

@TheDestroyer Vishistadvaita, advaita, dwaita are philosophies. Vaishnavism, saivism, shaktism are faiths. So, the philosphies are not cooked up by vaishnava acharyas or any other as you said. They tried to explain the characters of Brahman. Ramanujacharya's vishishtadvaita philosopy and vaishnavism are different.

The philosophies are interpretations.

@SreeCharan I know they interpreted Vedas in their own way. Shankara interpreted Vedas in his own way and propounded Advaita. Similarly, Ramanuja.

@SreeCharan But can you tell me why Vishnu is supreme in VisistaAdvaita? Why those Acharyas cherrypicked Vedic verses to explain Supremeness of Narayana?

@SreeCharan I didn't demean any Vaishnava Acharya. Sorry if i did. I have no problem with them as they talk about greatness of Narayana but problem only arises when they demean other aspects such as Shiva and Shakthi with their own logic. Let's stop it here.
