I'm pretty sure this guy is a troll, but some of the questions he asked had very interesting answers.
I've been noticing that though Votes in summary of my profile increases, the reputation doesn't increase and also it doesn't show up in profile. It used to before like +10 or +20 etc. I tried to google the problem and found there is a application to recalculate the reputation. It didn't work and ...

the question would basically be keyed to the fact that the questioner is obviously looking for an answer from a specific school of thought. but very possibly doesn't even know his own school, just that he was told such-and-such.
so it adds an extra complication to the general "should answers from any school be allowed" discussions which have been going on.

@Ashu It's not numerology.. But again it has no basis in religion right? It's probably something something like how people shorten or paraphrase things..
As others have said, 786 is a hash of "Bismillah-hirRahmaan-irraheem". Instead of beginning a work with "Bismillah-hirRahmaan-irraheem", any work, writeups, etc. would now begin with 786. I wonder how hashing came to Qur'anic verses. where does the proof of using a hash arise? Though mathematica...
@Ashu You perform deeds to get reward from Allah and to get full benefit of the reward you should do it properly. You know if intention is all that matters, why do we have texts explaining how we should do things? Everything is Intention + right action and words. Imaan is belief + action + statements right? That is what the prophet defined Imaan as.

@Ashu No problem with that, but don't make things too cryptic. Bismillah is supposed to be the full in its arabic and making '786' or "basmalla" more mainstream is not a good thing because it discourages the authentic arabic usage. I heard some where that Allah loves arabic more.. not sure if there's a hadith.
@Gigili well i get all that but the main reason i am protesting is that if one edit is rejected i have to start all over from 0 edits to reach the "strunk & white badge"
Most of the time one of the users get notified that someone else is editing the post or it's edited already so that the other user doesn't waste time on it.

@Ershad In my free time I do a lot of Physics/Computer Science. I should be doing more Islamic studies, but I haven't gotten into a good habit of reading Quran everyday.
