@Wowfunhappy Basically because VMware have done a shocking job in marketing and communications. And, as you mentioned, their website is very confusing. I'd go as far as to say that it's actually broken in many browsers. It's a shame, because Parallel's policies can really irk people up the wrong way, and some decent competition from VMware would be most welcome.

@Wowfunhappy The flag decline reason may be wrong, probably should have been "flags should't be used on wrong or incorrect answers". If an answer is wrong, just downvote and move on.

@Wowfunhappy glad the wrong answer is getting votes and comments
I can’t blame people for not wanting to upgrade an OS or even do a reinstall of the same OS but having a downvoted answer actually helps others with knowing a better answer is needed or an edit is needed.

I wonder why Apple doesn't fix NFTS write support on macOS. They have the drivers but apparently it's buggy. Other drivers for Linux are open source. They could easily make a write driver work.
As a naive user, it's pretty bad UX when I plugin my drive it pops up in finder but I can drag anything onto it. No error, no alert. Just randomly can't write to it.

There’s nothing random about not writing to NTFS. I don’t think Apple ever has ever shipped that enabled on any OS or product
