Just a quick note, I noticed that my Not An Answer flag on this answer was declined: apple.stackexchange.com/a/418710/150839 I'd love to understand why, or alternately to suggest taking a second look. While the answer does contain a shred of information, it's entirely unrelated to the question.
@JBis I don't frankly know why anyone would buy Parallels now that VMWare Fusion is free for personal use. Unless you have a business need. Performance between the two is basically the same.

@Wowfunhappy M1 support, also where can I get for free?
I didn't see that

6:56 PM
@JBis Ah, I forgot Parallels supported the M1 now. But, VMWare Fusion can be had here: my.vmware.com/web/vmware/evalcenter?p=fusion-player-personal. Note their website is very confusing, but you can get free keys.

@Wowfunhappy thank you!
For the first time in a very long time, Apple is choosing usability and functionality over looks, which will def be appreciated by the super user community.

@Wowfunhappy hi. Doesn’t the answer recommend to upgrade to Big Sur to fix this?

11:18 PM
@bmike No, it recommends upgrading to Big Sur to fix Garageband.
