@JBis If the laptop sits at one place all day like in a studio then yes it's compact and a nice long term solution for people who store lots of huge files, mostly cache.

Files for photoshop, video editors, Houdini, Blender all get huge quickly

why not external HDD/SSD you might ask, because apps can crash if you move the cable ;)

Huge means 100GB at most

No need for 8TB
