Currently (March 2012) the MacBook Air and the Mac Pro are the only generally available macs that lack a built-in infrared receiver. The white polycarbonate MacBook that is still available as a refurbished product and from educational sales channels also lacks an infrared receiver.

Like the OS itself, these ubiquitous dialogs have several layers of functionality: they’re easy to use and can be as simple as you like, but they’re also surprisingly complex and flexible beneath the surface. sure. But I bet there are some specific best practices that would help.

From an end user perspective, I see that my battery life is dramatically different when I'm running some apps than others, and I'd love to know if there are particular things that are battery hogs.

It regularly turns on my GPS to check where I am so it can react to bump faster!

You want to see a battery die, have your GPS active for half of the day.
