Q: Suspicious Dots

Yllrauei1984 = Message: u l g i o w y m s m u e b x g z g e n t

looks like weird broken braille, overlayed on more weird broken braille
.....
"Lots of Dots"
"Lots and lots of dots and dots"
20:02
they're not actually letters in braille?
None of them even have 6 dots, and what do they grey vs red dots mean, if so?
Both have an odd number of columns, so no combining, for braille
Heh I was just thinking about that Magician puzzle and it made me think of this:
Was also made in paint probably, since the dots are all misaligned
Yer a Mugger, Harry
why did you have to tell me they were misaligned....
I could have lived my whole life not noticing that...
20:05
omg adds hint, edits out hint phew now no one can see that
t was added to the end of the letters
@GordonAllocman I think theres a "bug" in your harmonica puzzle. Rather to say that I think I'm on a good run.
I think
oh wow it was actually edited so fast it didn't make the edit history
@LeppyR64 I don't think there is a bug
BTW the dots guy posted a hint Alarm, then quickly removed it before it stuck
nevermind, he added a < to the side
Okay, so it's possibly what I originally thought when I saw it
LED
just seems an odd representation
broken LED
not nearly enough dots per "number"
20:09
I was considering putting the hint he took out in the comments but that felt rude
Oh, also, Gordon...
I keep having to run things through Conditional Breakpoints - which if you think is slow in Visual Studio - they run 5x slower in Borland ><
oh boy
Im on iteration 76 and it is supposed to fail at 97ish so yay
Because, quite frankly, I'm not going to look through each of these 17000 lines for each of these 30 people to find out which of the 14 iterations, per line, I'm trying to find, in both programs.
the 17000 is NOT lines of code.
Gets an exception thrown while in debug mode in VS. Turns 80 before it loads
It's possible lines of schedules per crew member
20:14
The benefit to this taking so long, is that I have an excuse to be here now
agh, K_K, my test comment showed up to you?
sorry about that. verrry strange, thought it was under a post of my own and didn't reference @Khale_Kitha
2 hours ago, by Khale_Kitha
which has $~ \dfrac {\raise-9mu{\scriptsize\sf equivalent~bits} } { \raise 9mu{\scriptsize\sf punch ~ cells} } = $O(\infty) ~$ in terms of the number of punch cells — humn 1 min ago
but it was after a comment of yours ... guess i'll have to find a more discreet way to test $math$ in comments
wow some guy commented trying to tell me In clover clearly means love is in the word clover....
also hi @humn
20:31
Bah
Also you should be able to test on that sandbox post, humn
Finding words to fit this puzzle is being a pain right now..
My star, on the right, looks like it's referring to Deusovi's summary :P
well damn, after it running past 100, I realized that was a bug in my code and none of that mattered
not enough time to run it again/can't fix the current issue though
Lepy said he was getting somewhere on my puzzle, but I actually have no idea what he was talking about with the "bug" so who knows
anyways im heading home, ill probably stop in later though
No idea
Kk
20:48
Just went to the new shake shack, the food was unimpressive as expected but a belle and sebastian song played while I was waiting so that was nice
such is shake shack
I figured it was worth another try
Soooooo greasy though
go for the shakes
@q_a which new one? We talkin' Chicago?
20:58
ny, probably
When I heard about one opening in Chicago, people started losing their shit because of how awesome it is and how huge the lines always were in NY and I'm like, hang on... I've been there and there was like no line and it was just like any other urban "spatular" burger place.
Just...um...
(Updated April)
Yeah, had the same issue when In-N-Out Burger came here.
Yeah, nyc
21:02
So many people constantly raved about how awesome is was going to be and how awesome it was. Everyone I've talked to who has "actually" eaten there - just whatever - it's a burger place with meh burgers.
And it's...it's not like the burgers are bad, just...not stand in line good
Er
I definitely have a favorite burger place in my home state
I've only had two favorite restaurants, ever, and in both, the owner has passed away :(
(Though in one, his wife still runs the restaurant - the other was too small)
Well, the one other place I love as much as the burger place closed up shop forever last year
21:23
I wish I could ask opinions about clues for my puzzle in here :P
21:35
I wish I could give somebody my puzzle idea
Ask and you shall receive!
Oh I "can ask" but then it would ruin the fun - I think I finally have this puzzle in a usable state....sec
21:47
oh I'm so glad that the JMP answer is still showing on this higher-resolution monitor
still making me laugh
Finally thought of a title.
JMP?
(And posted)
Puzzling user Pon Jark Merry
cool snotty baby
haha
I looked through a LOT of images (much to my chagrin) before coming up with that tame one.
And I just remembered that I'd wanted to do a small storyline wiht this - pity I wasn't able to edit in the first 5 minutes.
The watermark on that picture above the baby seems a bit..useless....since you can't read it and all.
21:58
usually babies are cute. But it's not the case in your puzzle :p @Khale_Kitha
i think it looks cute
I do too
I chose the cutest baby, too.
facepalm
22:00
haha
But I must say...that kid is in tough position. He might be feeling nice. But the people around him must be feeling like "Yuuuucckkkkk" :p
How do you spell relief? "A-C-H-O-O!"
Spelling of relief: S-L-E-E-P
I would have tried to solve your puzzle but it won't give me any rep right now.. #RepSeeker #Evil
Sees @Alconja. Feels ashamed of what I just said
(I am feeling mad (in a good way) right now)
22:37
like a Hatter?
22:51
I have a two year old. That's a common sight.
@Khale_Kitha yeah
me, too, Leppy
and a recently 1-year old
I have a 3 year old sis. So that's not as common as it was one or two years ago.
.....now that I know I don't need to reference a person to respond, when they're the first/only comment on a post (responds to Leppy)
And you're right, I didn't find the answer there.
23:06
@LeppyR64 Answer where?
Right where you said I wouldn't find it :)
confused
I don't remember, but I have a migraine
Next time you edit your puzzle you will remember.
hahha, you tried to look at the edit page
I always do, one of the first puzzles I solved here involved some clues in there. Now it's habit.
23:11
likewise
That's why I put things in it, now
The most embarrassing part is that I have no idea who the good looking girl is but I know exactly who Ella is...
Poor "Ella"
I feel better now. Thanks guys.
A little bit
hehe
I just meant that you said she wasn't good looking
...and that it was the "wrong name" :P
23:17
I'm trying to write a justification and nothing is going to come out right. I'm just going to keep quiet on that topic :)
i have no idea what a lot of those images are
23:30
I know what a lot of them are. One is Elsa :)
