@Jivings I completely misread your answer!
@AlexChamberlain When?

A: Rebooting the system

JivingsMy first thought would be this is a firmware issue. Try updating the firmware using Hexxeh's tool, it appears to be the easiest way for Debian users to update (someone please correct me if I'm wrong). You can download the tool from his GitHub repository here. Arch Linux users should already hav...

Oh right. Yeah, I thought it was an odd comment.

@AlexChamberlain Btw, I just wrote a response to your web browser question.

A: Do we need web-browser specific tags?

dunsmorebThe reason for this is that previously all questions under web-browsers were tagged web. According to the web tag wiki it is for web browsers. Questions regarding the installation and use of web browsers. Knowing this, we decided to retag the relevant questions to web-browsers. This left an...

O I read that
I agree - upvoted @dunsmoreb
Coolio. Just thought you might want to know. =P
Btw, can we get that question deleted?
I've VTD'd
Pester @Jivings
and then I'll flag
Can't we just annoy the mods in their room?
I can flag it now?
Ya, I guess you could. But that could take a while. =/
18:11
I don't know whether my flag gets precedence because I have access to mod tools?
No. I hope not.
=/
18:28
Is it worth tagging questions with good "tutorial-style" answers as ?
and start tagging ?
No.
Do not ever do this.
We had a discussion about doing this except with , but we decided against it. Let me find the discussion...
@dunsmoreb Have you got a reason?
Read in the general area of this chat with Shog9.
Jun 18 at 20:46, by Shog9
@dunsmoreb Well, yes, you should tag them - just make the tag(s) describe the questions. If you want to group them together in some sort of meta-faq, link to them from a tag wiki (or wikis).
So far we our editing the appropriate tag wikis to link to them.
For example, both and have a common questions section.
If you want, we could post a community faq meta post. Kinda like on Meta Stack Overflow.

hi there.
Hello.
Do you think a "What are the differences between os1 and os2?" is a not-too-subjective question?
It's not subjective at all. But I don't think it's very constructive. =/
(Out of interest) Why?
What benefit does it provide to future users?
And not only that, but the list would be infinitely long.
But I wouldn't VTC.
19:05
Benefit? Well, if you're wondering what distro to use, you want to know the differences.
Like I said, I personally don't think it's constructive. But I wouldn't VTC.
I'm not sure whether to go for it or not.
What's the question?
"What are the differences between os1 and os2?" or similar
Allow it to stay.
19:07
Anyway, I don't really have the time now to ask it anyway. I ought to be doing music.
Hint, so I can prepare? =P
Wasn't intended to be, but if you want to see it that way... :P
So I assume that's a know? D=>
:D How's Pibake coming along?
Okay.
@Jivings Is doing his thing and I'm working on the website.

@BryanDunsmore Yes!
@OliverSalzburg Yo dawg! =D
Wattup? :D
Nothing. Whattup with you?
Reading questions... :)
Haha. I'm working on the website. I'm trying to find my mockup though! D=>
Got it! =D
23:09
@BryanDunsmore What is the RP community project?
@OliverSalzburg It basically is a way to create an image of your desired os + applications.
Read the transcripts for a much more detailed explanation.
@BryanDunsmore Thanks, I was looking for a summary :)
@OliverSalzburg Here is a quote from @Jivings.
in RPi Community Project, Jun 27 at 16:23, by Jivings
What I was thinking was a website that allows users to select a distro and a number of packages.
Thanks :)
You're welcome. =P
Btw, since you're active on Super User. Can you review my answer?

A: Google Chrome AutoCorrect?

Bryan DunsmoreCurrently there is no support for auto correct in Google Chrome. There is an open issue on the Chromium source code, issue 7624 to be precise, that wants to add support for auto correct. But this is not functional and the last update is from February 17, 2010. This leaves extensions as your only...

@BryanDunsmore I also read your post on [meta.su] :D
@OliverSalzburg Which one?
Oh, I thought there was only one :D
Let me check
Haha. I love meta. =P

Q: Merge [multi-user] into [multiple-users]

Bryan DunsmoreMerge the tag mutli-user into multiple-users. They refer to the same concept and the term multiple users is a little more clear than multi user. And to convince you, I have dragged up the relic that is Trogdor the Burninator!

Which is why my Meta Stack Overflow account is my second highest rep.

I was like "Hey, I know that guy!"
I actually was reading over some of my old meta posts and @Jivings commented on one of them before this site was started. =P
I was like, Is that Jivings from Raspberry Pi?!
