How should one approach re-tagging questions after a new tag has been added? For example, I'd like to add the tag math.stackexchange.com/questions/tagged/realcompact-spaces to the answers that already mentioned realcompact spaces but the tag didn't exist yet. Should I do it or leave those questions alone?

I'm just afraid the amount of questions I'd need to edit is large, and I don't want to be "spamming" the system. Not sure how it works

I see that the tag has two questions now:

Q: Is every metric space realcompact?

Forever MozartLet $X$ be a space and $\beta X$ denote the Stone-Cech compactification of $X$. $X$ is realcompact if for each $p\in \beta X\setminus X$ there is a continuous $f:X\to[0,\infty)$ such that $\beta f (p)=\infty$, where $\beta f:\beta X\to[0,\infty]$ is the extension of $f$. It is fairly easy to s...

Probably it's worth waiting a bit to see whether somebody has some objections to the new tag.
And some of the linked questions are a bit related too.
@Jakobian You can have a look at the previous conversation I linked above, to see whether it makes sense.
And some related posts on meta are linked above, too.
Yeah it makes sense. Only relevant questions should have added tags, and the tagging process should be slow.
For only a handful of questions mention realcompactness, so I think it should be easy to add the tag to them.
