Q: "alternative method" type questions

Sung jin-wooI have a numerical type question on matrices, for which I already have a solution, but is a bit tedious. I actually wanted to know an alternative method or wether that question is kind of a “standard result” question which I should learn. (For Example as $AX= \lambda X$) type questions are actual...

A: "alternative method" type questions

Mike Earnest Clearly state the original question. Show your own solution. Explain that you are looking for an alternate solution. Be specific about what you are looking for. Something like "I want a solution that does not use complex numbers" or "I want a solution using the snake lemma".

I remember a comment about tag under that answer - it seems to be deleted now.
That's what I was responding to here:
@VerónicaR.M. Do you mean (alternative-proof)? AFAICT there isn't a tag called (alternative-solution) on Mathematics (at the moment). — Martin Sleziak 23 hours ago
Since the other comments were deleted, probably mine doesn't make much sense now - so I'll delete that one too.
Still, the question remains. For verification question we have and as synonyms. Should there be a tag called - in addition to ?
Of course, it would be a meta tag - I am aware of the fact that it's better not to have too many of those.

@MartinSleziak I think yes.
For example,
If one has an integral, then in general, one is supposed to find the result. One doesn't know what that value is. So is a solution to find. On the other side, when it comes to a proof, then one has the statement and one already know what is to be found.
So it fits the proof word

I think the backpropagation tag should be merged to the AI. And when someone ask, could be AI+multivariable calculus
