While such information can be useful in special circumstances (like to those making course selections), I'm doubtful of the value of "roadmap" as a tag for searches. A search of the kind you propose involves a starting point and a destination, qualifications that will require wording by a post's author. In the future do not tag sample posts before bringing it up on meta. You can list those sample posts in your meta thread, in fact, you should do that as a case for support. Finally, I agree with @hardmath on this issue. I don't think the tag is particularly useful in general. It's a semi-meta-tag to some extent, which is not a good start, and it's not particularly helpful in classifications. @OP When you think about whether a tag is useful, you think about whether an individual would benefit from searching by that tag. While these questions all do have the roadmap structure as a commonality, there is nothing to gain by searching on these questions, as the actual content is related to the field of study, which is the important tag.
