In mathematics, the Teichmüller space T(S) of a (real) topological (or differential) surface S, is a space that parameterizes complex structures on S up to the action of homeomorphisms that are isotopic to the identity homeomorphism. Each point in T(S) may be regarded as an isomorphism class of 'marked' Riemann surfaces where a 'marking' is an isotopy class of homeomorphisms from S to itself.
It can also be viewed as a moduli space for marked hyperbolic structure on the surface and this endows it with a natural topology for which it is homeomorphic to a ball of dimension 6g − 6 for a surface of...

Consider the following linear program (LP) $$ \begin{align*} &\text{maximize }& &c^\prime x\\ &\text{subject to }& &Ax \leq b\\ & && 0\leq x_i \leq 1 \quad \forall i \end{align*} $$ We know that $b$ is integral, $A_{i,j} \in \{-1,0,1\}$. However, $A$ is not necessary totally unimodular. We also...
In mathematics, the linear programming relaxation of a 0-1 integer program is the problem that arises by replacing the constraint that each variable must be 0 or 1 by a weaker constraint, that each variable belong to the interval [0,1].
That is, for each constraint of the form
x

{
0
,
1
}
{\displaystyle x_{i}\in \{0,1\}}
of the original integer program, one instead uses a pair of linear constraints

@RodrigodeAzevedo I see that you have created (integrality-gap) tag. It might be useful to create also tag-wiki or at least tag-excerpt. It might help other users to use the tag correctly. Another reason is that the tags used on only one question are automatically deleted after certain time unless they have tag-wiki. — Martin Sleziak 30 secs ago
