Perhaps a differential geometer would be able to say whether recently created tag has potential to be useful. If somebody has some remarks on this, leave a message in tagging chat room.
Now the tag (moment-map) has the tag-excerpt
I have copied the same text to the tag-wiki and added link to Wikipedia.

I see among the recently created tags. Worth keeping?
A finite difference is a mathematical expression of the form f(x + b) − f(x + a). If a finite difference is divided by b − a, one gets a difference quotient. The approximation of derivatives by finite differences plays a central role in finite difference methods for the numerical solution of differential equations, especially boundary value problems. Certain recurrence relations can be written as difference equations by replacing iteration notation with finite differences. Today, the term "finite difference" is often taken as synonymous with finite difference approximations of derivatives, especially...
I see that you have created (newton-series) tag. It might be useful to create also tag-wiki or at least tag-excerpt. It might help other users to use the tag correctly. Another reason is that the tags used on only one question are automatically deleted after certain time unless they have tag-wiki. — Martin Sleziak 1 min ago

I have now done that. Thank you for the tag-wiki link. — Mark Fischler 7 mins ago
There is now tag-excerpt and tag-wiki for .
