@LJR I see that you have created (nichols-algebras) tag. It might be useful to create also tag-wiki or at least tag-excerpt. It might help other users to use the tag correctly. (This is probably not a problem here, since the tag name seems to be descriptive enough.) Another reason is that the tags used on only one question are automatically deleted after certain time unless they have tag-wiki. — Martin Sleziak 1 min ago
In algebra, the Nichols algebra of a braided vector space (with the braiding often induced by a finite group) is a braided Hopf algebra which is denoted by B ( V ) {\displaystyle {\mathfrak {B}}(V)} and named after the mathematician Warren Nichols. It takes the role of quantum Borel part of a pointed Hopf algebra such as a quantum groups and their well known finite-dimensional truncations. Nichols algebras can immediately be used to write down new such quantum groups by using the Radford...

I am a bit surprised to see that your suggested edit was rejected. While in theory I agree with the reason described there, in this case the name of the tag seem unambiguous enough to me. I wen ahead and edited it with the text from your suggestion. — Martin Sleziak 13 secs ago
So now we have at least some basic tag-excerpt and tag-wiki for Wiener algebra.
I tried to encourage the tag-creator to create also tag-info when creating tags - in fact the rejection might have discouraged them from doing this in the future.

So if the tags for first- and second-countable spaces are created, what would be a reasonable tag name? I guess both (first-countable) or (first-countability) sound reasonable. And both (first-countable-spaces) and (second-countable-spaces) still fit 25 characters limit for tag name, but they seem a bit too long. — Martin Sleziak 26 secs ago
I am not sure whether it is needed or not, but since you discussed (separable-spaces) vs. (countability-axioms) here in a few messages, maybe you will have some comments also on this @quid.
I am pinging you just in case this is interesting for you, feel free to ignore it, if it is irrelevant.
But judging from this previous message, all names mentioned in comment might be ok from your viewpoint:

My concern re separable-spaces and some other things is when a synonym is created that focuses one one aspect of the usage. As long as there is no syn I have no problem with tags being the name of the object.

@MartinSleziak thanks for the update. I have no strong feelings about this. In doubt I'd go for the long versions (that is with space).

Thanks for the reponse.
I agree, I said also in my comment that they "seem a bit too long".
I think I have mentioned it before, but if it will end up with accepting Brian M. Scott's suggestions, I will be quite satisfied with such outcome.

Yes, it seems fine to me too.

But probably it is good to leave some time for more users to put some feedback on this or to vote. (It is very likely that most of people who care about this already voted or commented. But we probably should not be hasty and wait a bit. After all, if the tag was here since February, it is not urgent to remove it in the next few days.)

Sure, there is no rush. Except I should rush away now. See you.

Have a nice day!
