Hi, you are maybe a tag expert, but your chebychev-function tag should be removed. — user1952009 1 hour ago
@user1952009 Since this is really not related to topic of this post, perhaps we could move this discussion to chat? — Martin Sleziak 28 secs ago
@user1952009 Could you clarify a bit what you mean?
If you want to removed from some specific question, then go ahead and edit it. (Of course you can let me know if I retagged some question incorrectly.)
Or do you mean to completely removed the tag from the site?
This was previously proposed here:

A: What is (chebyshev-function) tag for?

AlexRThose questions which really are about chebyshev-functions seem sufficiently tagged by analytic-number-theory, so maybe we should just soft-delete the tag (remove, don't blacklist). I didn't see any question which would need retagging after removing chebyshev-function, but if we decide to keep...

So you could either do something to revive discussion there or make a new post in the tag management thread‌. (But it would be probably useful to link to previous discussion.)
BTW I do not claim that I am tag-expert.
And I am not sure why you used the phrase your chebyshev-function tag. I hope I recall correctly that I am not the user who created it.
This query returns some possible candidates. (At least I had opportunity to try arjafi's query.)
:D sure, I just wanted you to notice, and it was also intended to make you laugh — user1952009 5 mins ago
Personally I do not think that the tag does any harm, so I think it could stay. But I can certainly live without it.
In any case, if you really meant to remove tag entirely, then suggesting that on meta seems to be more-or-less standard way to go. (However, not as a comment on a post to completely different issue.)

No response so far, with the exception of the above comment. @user1952009 could you at least let me know whether you saw the messages I posted above? Thanks!

tag was created. Any opinions on this tag? Should it be removed? Is it potentially userful?

Q: which eigenvalue is the stable one

mathemagicianI'm reading a textbook that says something along the lines of, given a function $f:\mathbb{R}^2\rightarrow\mathbb{R}^2$. The Jacobian evaluated at $x_0$ has one eigenvalue smaller than one one eigenvalue greater than one. Then it says $[1 v]$ be the eigenvector that corresponds to the stable eig...

@user1952009 Since I did not receive any response from you in chat, I am not sure whether you see the messages I posted there. Anyway, brief summary is that if you want to suggest removing a tag, the standard approach is to make a post in the tag management thread. If you decide to post there, it might be useful to link to previous discussion about this tag. — Martin Sleziak 28 secs ago

Anyway, it was useful that I was reminded about existence of tag. I looked at questions with this tag and removed it from some questions which were incorrectly tagged (question about Chebyshev inequality or Chebyshev polynomails etc.)
