@experimentX That is a cubic Bezier curve. The $P_i$ are the points which define the Bezier curve. See also

@Stijn I mean in the equation, its a cubic equation in 't', and 'P' are coefficient, but we have two sets of coordinate that define a point
and are 'P' magnitude of position vector?
or is the equation 'complex' one?

@experimentX Well, personally I've never worked with these things but Wikipedia says that the P_i are points in R^3, suggesting that they are indeed 3 vectors.
