Given the following function
$$f(n, x, y)=\left\{\begin{array}{ll}x\cdot y&\mbox{, if }n=0\\x&\mbox{, if } n>0\wedge y=0\\f(n-1, f(n, x, y-1), f(n, x, y-1) + y)&\mbox{, else}\end{array}\right.$$
